2. Collection and storage of personal data

When you visit my website, data is automatically collected by the web server (Shopify Inc.). This includes:

  • IP address of the requesting device

  • Date and time of access

  • Name and URL of the retrieved file

  • Browser and operating system used

  • Referrer URL (previously visited page)

This data is technically necessary to display the website correctly and serves to ensure system security (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).

3. Hosting via Shopify

My online shop is operated via the platform Shopify Inc. , 151 O'Connor Street, Ground Floor, Ottawa, Ontario K2P 2L8, Canada.
Shopify stores customer data (e.g., order information, payment data, IP addresses) on servers in the USA and Canada.

Shopify is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and provides a level of data protection compliant with the GDPR.

4. Data collection when placing orders

When you place an order through my shop, the following data is collected:

  • First and Last Name

  • Billing and delivery address

  • E-mail address

  • Telephone number (optional)

  • Payment information

This data is necessary to fulfill the purchase contract (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR).

5. Disclosure of personal data

Your data will only be shared with third parties if this is necessary to fulfill the contract. This includes, in particular:

  • Shopify (shop system & hosting)

  • Shipping service providers in China (AliExpress / CJ Dropshipping / Logistics partners)

  • Payment service providers that you select during checkout (e.g. PayPal, Klarna, Stripe, etc.)

Some data processing may take place outside the EU. All providers involved process data in accordance with the requirements of the GDPR or equivalent data protection standards.

6. Dropshipping Notice

Since the goods are shipped directly by suppliers in China , your shipping data (name, address, and telephone number if applicable) will be transmitted to these partners.
This data transfer is necessary to process your order (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR).

I select my suppliers carefully and only provide the most necessary data.

7. Payment service providers

As part of the payment processing, personal data will be transmitted to the payment service providers you have chosen. These service providers are independent controllers within the meaning of the GDPR.

If you contact me by email, the data you provide (e.g. name, email address, message) will be saved in order to process your request.
Processing is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR.

9. Cookies & Analysis Tools

This website uses cookies to make it easier to use and to enable features such as the shopping cart.

Shopify automatically sets technically necessary cookies.
In addition, analysis tools such as Shopify Analytics can be used to statistically evaluate visitor behavior.

You can delete or block cookies at any time in your browser settings.

10. Rights of the data subject

You have the following rights at any time:

I reserve the right to adapt this privacy policy as needed, for example in the event of changes to legal regulations or technical processes.
